Privacy
Last updated: fresh with every deploy. Keepsakes live exactly seven days; this page describes what that means for your data.
In one line
Your photos stay private in your browser and on our servers for seven days, then poof - gone for good. We don't sell data, show you ads using your photos, or hang onto anything longer than we need to.
What we store when you shoot
- Your photo strip, individual shots, and (if enabled) a short loop video. These are uploaded to encrypted object storage and deleted automatically seven days after you take them.
- A private link so only you can reach your keepsake. Without that link, nobody can see it - not even us browsing the site.
- Basic timing data (when the room was created, when you shot) so the seven-day cleanup can run.
Nothing in your photos is used for advertising, training, or analytics. There is no face scanning and no facial recognition.
What we store when you sign in
- Your name, email, and avatar from Google or Apple. That's it - we never see your password.
- Which sign-in provider you used and a link between that account and your profile.
Signing in is optional. You can use the booth as a guest - you just won't be able to publish frames to the community gallery.
Community answer frames
Frames you publish to the gallery are public. Your display name may appear alongside them as the creator, and anyone can copy or reuse a published frame. Unpublish a frame anytime to remove it from the gallery - the preset that people already saved a train from stays on their devices.
Reports
When you report a frame or user, we keep the kind of report, the target's ID, and your reason until it's reviewed and resolved. Reports help keep the gallery and the booth safe.
Cookies & sessions
We use a small cookie to keep you signed in for up to seven days. We don't use third-party ad cookies, and we don't run cross-site trackers.
Where your data lives
Photos and keepsakes are stored on our object storage, and account/frame data in a managed Postgres database. Everything is served over HTTPS while it moves.
Your rights
- Delete a keepsake: open its private link and choose to remove it, or just let it expire within seven days.
- Delete your account: email us (below) and we'll remove your profile and linked photos.
- Unpublish or delete community frames you created from the frame builder.
Because keepsakes auto-delete, most of your data needs no action from you - it cleans itself up.
